Episode Summaries

A large caravan arrives at the harem. Consorts and ladies-in-waiting alike are excited by clothes, accessories, and other foreign items, and the harem is filled with a festival-like atmosphere. A few days later, after the caravan exits, perfumed oils become very popular in the harem. Maomao smells a scent and feels a strange sense of discomfort, so she heads to the Crystal Pavilion.
