Episode Summaries

Jinshi is troubled after learning that the strategist Lakan is Maomao's father. Meanwhile, Maomao hears from Lihaku that ritual implements were stolen during the recent fire incident. Noticing strange connections between that incident and other events — the death of Kounen from alcohol poisoning, the death of the ritual implements' craftsman, and the illness of an official due to seaweed poisoning — Maomao feels that these events are more than just coincidences. She consults Jinshi, and together they begin reinvestigating the cases.
