Episode Summaries

As there is a possibility that Consort Gyokuyou will be pregnant again, Maomao is assigned to be her food taster at the Jade Pavilion. On her way back from the medical office, where she encountered the quack doctor, Maomao is summoned by Lihaku. He confides in her that he wants to buy out Pairin, a courtesan from the Verdigris House whom Maomao had introduced him to. Having heard rumors that one of the three courtesans would be bought out, Lihaku, harboring feelings for Pairin, became restless and deeply troubled. Then, Maomao unexpectedly tells him to strip naked.
