Duel Masters LOST Chapter 4 Sets a Fall Release and Reveals Its Title Character

What was announced

The official X account for the Duel Masters LOST anime said on July 27 that the series' fourth chapter, Duel Masters LOST: Danzai no Shounen, is planned for release this fall. The same post unveiled the anime design for the mysterious boy the chapter is named after, 神岬ロスト, who is pictured in school uniform holding a card, with a blue dragon coiled behind him.

That fall window is the first piece of timing the project has ever attached to the chapter. The official Duel Masters LOST site had announced Danzai no Shounen back in February as a production confirmation and nothing else, a single line with no release window, no cast, and no staff listed beside it. Five months later, the account has finally put a season on it.

What we know

The rest is being deliberately held back for a live event. The announcement said the next round of information will be revealed on Saturday, August 22, at the LOST Special Stage held as part of the Duel Masters 25th anniversary tour stop in Kanagawa, and afterwards through the official website and social accounts.

So cast and staff for the new chapter remain unannounced, and no specific release date has been given beyond the season. There is also no word yet on where the chapter will stream, though the previous three chapters point to the obvious answer.

Background

Duel Masters LOST is an alternative take on the Duel Masters WIN anime that asks what would have happened if Win Kirifuda had been defeated and lost his memories in the process. It is set in Shinjuku against a run of mysterious disappearances, and its story begins when a transfer student named Krista arrives and Win's stalled daily life starts to move again.

The run began with Duel Masters LOST: Tsuioku no Suishou in October 2024. According to the official site, each of the first three chapters is four episodes long and streams on the franchise's own YouTube channel, Duetube, with the first two chapters also carried on subscription video services. The third chapter, Boukyaku no Taiyou, began streaming on February 6, 2026, and reached those subscription platforms a few days later.
