MAPPA's Jimoto Saiko! Heads to Netflix, a Hometown Comedy That's Cute and Terrifying

The anime is based on a manga by usagi, published by Saizusha, rather than an original work. According to Netflix's announcement, Tokio Igarashi is directing, Ryo Takada is writing the script, and Rio is the character designer, with animation production by MAPPA. No cast members were announced.
