KonoSuba Season 4 Sets a 2027 Broadcast With an Ultra Teaser Visual and New Staff
The anime's official account confirmed the fourth season for 2027 at its 10th anniversary event, with Takaomi Kanasaki returning as chief director.

What was announced
A fourth television season of KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! will broadcast in 2027. The anime's official X account published the confirmation on July 26 along with an "ultra teaser visual" for the season, titled Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! 4, and the series' official site carried the same announcement the same day. Anime News Network reports that the reveal came during Colorful, the anime's 10th anniversary event.
The teaser art is an unusually quiet piece for this franchise. Kazuma Satou and his party are seen from behind, walking across a grass field toward a break in the clouds, with a staff, a sword and a witch's hat left planted in the foreground. The tagline reads "let's head out on a new adventure."
The staff behind Season 4
The official post lists the core creative team. Takaomi Kanasaki, who directed the earlier seasons, returns as chief director, with Manabu Kurihara credited as director. Makoto Uezu is back on series composition, and Koichi Kikuta again handles character design. The season remains an adaptation of Natsume Akatsuki's light novels, illustrated by Kurone Mishima.
Two credits the official post leaves out are reported by Anime News Network: Yoshikazu Iwanami returning as sound director and Masato Kouda returning as composer. ANN also reports that the season is being animated at ENGI, a studio new to the franchise, and that Kurihara previously directed both seasons of The Detective Is Already Dead. By ANN's account, Studio DEEN produced the first two seasons, Drive produced the third, and J.C. Staff produced the film.
