Victoria of Many Faces Drops a Second PV and Opening Theme Ahead of Its July Premiere

A fresh look before the premiere

The spy fantasy Victoria of Many Faces is ramping up its promotion. On June 27, the show's official account released a second promotional video alongside a second main visual, the reveal of its opening theme, and the synopsis and advance cuts for the first episode. The series is set to premiere in the July 7 late-night slot, which airs at midnight into July 8, on TV Tokyo and its affiliated stations.

According to the official account, the new opening theme is titled "Isshin" (一進) and is performed by the artist Haku. The post pairs the song reveal with the second PV, now streaming on YouTube, and a new key visual for the adaptation.

A spy starting over

The story follows a spy who, after being betrayed by her own organization, disappears and begins a new life under the name Victoria in the neighboring kingdom of Ashberry. She wants nothing more than an ordinary, quiet existence, but the people around her keep pulling her back into the action, and the skills she honed as an agent prove far more useful than she expected. A second prince and a pursuer from her old organization both take an interest in her abilities, and old shadows begin closing in.

The official countdown also introduced a character icon for Bernard Fitcher, voiced by Hiroshi Ienaka, one of the supporting figures Victoria encounters in Ashberry. The lead, Victoria Sellers, is voiced by Chika Anzai.

Who is making it

The anime is produced by Studio Deen and directed by Nobukage Kimura, with character designs by Mina Osawa and music by Moe Hyuga, according to outlets including LiveChart and Wikipedia. It is based on the light novel series written by Syuu and illustrated by Nanna Fujimi, published under Media Factory's MF Books imprint. Crunchyroll has been announced to stream the series internationally.

With a second PV, an opening theme, and a first-episode preview now out, the production has laid out most of its pre-premiere cards. The full picture arrives when the first episode airs in the July 7 late-night block.
