Snowball Earth is getting a second season. On June 26, as the first season aired its finale, TOHO animation confirmed that a second season of Snowball Earth is in production, sharing a new promotional video. The studio teased fresh trials for Tetsuo Yabusame and his robot Yukio, along with the promise of new allies. No release date was given.

The story so far

A sci fi tale with kaiju and giant robots, Snowball Earth picks up ten years after Tetsuo helped save the planet alongside Yukio. He returns to a world buried in endless ice and snow and sets out to understand what happened to it. The new video hints that the next chapter will test that partnership again.
