Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 3 Sets January 2027 Premiere With Its First Teaser
Aniplex revealed the third season's January 2027 window, first trailer, and arc title, the Tri-Magicathalon Divine Visionary Final Exam Arc, at Anime Expo 2026.
What was announced
The official Mashle: Magic and Muscles account has released a teaser trailer confirming that the anime's third season will begin broadcasting in January 2027. Aniplex unveiled the trailer during its industry panel at Anime Expo 2026, giving fans their first moving look at the new season and its title, the Tri-Magicathalon Divine Visionary Final Exam Arc.
The season continues the adaptation of Hajime Komoto's manga, picking up directly from where the second season left off.
The Tri-Magicathalon arc
According to reporting from Anime News Network and Anime Corner, the new season follows Mash Burnedead and his classmates as they sit the final exam to become Divine Visionaries. The arc introduces a fresh set of eccentric students while bringing back the villain Innocent Zero, along with one of Mash's estranged brothers, Domina Blowelive. The teaser gives fans a first glimpse of the new season's animation ahead of its broadcast.
That places the story a step beyond the second season, which adapted the Divine Visionary Selection Exam Arc. Where those earlier exams tested the students' standing, the final exam raises the stakes for Mash, the boy who answers a world of spellcraft with raw muscle. The title's playful Tri-Magicathalon framing signals the same blend of shonen tournament structure and deadpan comedy that carried the first two seasons.
Returning cast and staff
The teaser confirmed the returning voice cast, keeping the core quartet of Mash and his classmates intact from the first two seasons. Chiaki Kobayashi reprises Mash, joined by Reiji Kawashima as Finn Ames, Kaito Ishikawa as , as , and as . Hiroaki Hirata returns as the narrator.
