The final chapter gets a date

VIZ Media has announced that Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Calamity will premiere on July 25, 2026 at 7:30 AM PT. According to VIZ, the final part will stream on Hulu in the United States and on Disney+ internationally. It marks the closing stretch of the anime that began with the original Bleach television series and its protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki.

What The Calamity covers

The Calamity is the fourth and final cours of the Thousand-Year Blood War storyline. Reporting from Comicbook.com and CBR puts its length at 13 episodes and frames it as the ultimate climax of the arc. It follows the earlier chapters of the adaptation, "The Separation" and "The Conflict," and brings the story to its end. Multiple outlets note that the season completes an adaptation Studio Pierrot has spent close to four years assembling, wrapping up both the modern anime run and the series first animated more than a decade ago.

Per Comicbook.com, the finale is overseen by chief series director Tomohisa Taguchi, with Hikaru Murata as series director, working from Tite Kubo's original manga. The same reporting lists the opening theme "I-BULL" by jo0ji and the ending theme "Rasen" by 9Lana. Kubo is quoted saying he personally listened to and selected the series' theme songs from the demo stage onward.
