Mob Psycho 100 Marks Its 10th Anniversary With a Special Video and a Class Reunion Event
The anime celebrated a decade on July 12 with a new commemorative video and a live reunion show featuring the lead cast and MOB CHOIR.

A decade of Mob
On July 12, Mob Psycho 100 marked the tenth anniversary of its anime, ten years after the first episode aired in July 2016. The official account celebrated the milestone the same day by releasing a new commemorative special video and staging a live anniversary event, capping months of activity around the show's tenth year.
What was announced
According to a post from the official @mobpsycho_anime account, a 10th anniversary special video went live on July 12, thanking fans for a decade of support, with an English-subtitled version made available as well. The account paired the release with a live anniversary event billed as a "Class Reunion," held the same day, exactly ten years after the series debuted.
The reunion was staged across two performances and featured members of the lead voice cast alongside the series' theme performers, MOB CHOIR. Reports on the event place it at Fukugawa Mirai Hall in Kawaguchi, Saitama, with the afternoon and evening shows filled through a fan lottery. Those unable to attend in person were invited to join a global campaign, sharing favorite scenes from across the series under the #MyMobPsycho hashtag.
The story so far
Based on the manga by ONE, Mob Psycho 100 follows Shigeo Kageyama, a soft-spoken middle schooler and immensely powerful esper who tries to live an ordinary life and keep his powers in check, right up until his emotions hit 100 percent. He works under the self-styled spirit medium Reigen Arataka, a fast-talking con man who becomes an unlikely mentor. Directed by Yuzuru Tachikawa with character designs by Yoshimichi Kameda, the series ran for three television seasons and earned a reputation as one of the most acclaimed anime of its era for its expressive animation and its emotional core.
