The adaptation itself is not a rumor. Netflix officially announced the Korean live-action series in July 2025, casting Byeon Woo-seok as E-rank hunter Sung Jinwoo. Han So-hee is attached as S-rank hunter Cha Hae-in, with Kang You-seok as Yoo Jin-Ho. Lee Hae-jun and Kim Byung-seo are co-directing, and Kakao Entertainment and Sanai Pictures are producing. Byeon Woo-seok confirmed via Weverse that filming began in May 2026.
